Disneyland Part 1

So I have totally failed at the 31 for 21 challenge because we have been in Disneyland for the last week. So since I have so much to blog about from our trip I am seperating it into a few posts. We decided to keep it a secret from the girls and we packed while they were asleep and when they woke up they found their bags packed and their tickets to Disneyland and then we got ready and got in the car. They were SO excited they were crazy on the drive there because they were so excited. As we were getting in the car Kyra says "Adrie your wish came true, we really are going to Disneyland!" It was so cute! We stopped at this gas station on the way down and they had this huge rocking chair out front-Bree looks so funny in it by herself! The girls LOVED the hotel because it had a bunk bed and little table and chairs and their own T.V. and their were sliding glass doors to close it off from our side of the room.(F.Y.I the pictures on the next few posts are in random order)

Kris's sister Lindey and her husband Corbin were able to join us and we are so glad they did! Not only did we have a great time with them, it was VERY helpful to have them there! Thanks for coming with us Corb and Lindey-the girls loved having you there!
The girls were copying the bugs grumpy pose-they matched it very nicely. This is how Bree would dance whenever she heard music-on or off a ride!
We watched the parade three of the four nights we were there. Bree absolutely LOVED the parades, and I have to admit it is one of my favorite parts too! I even get a little teary watching my girls light up at the sight of all the princesses and floats! There really is something So magical about this place for kids these ages!
Bree pretty much clapped the entire parade and waved with both hands at everyone in it!
The girls were really excited about their new souvenirs -their baby animals. they were talking about what to name them and Kyra chose Sophie for her cat and Adrie chose the best name "beautiful castle Minnie"-we were dying!

Mom and Adrie on the teacups-I can only handle this ride once.
Ky, Adrie and dad on Big Thunder-this was one of Ky and Adrie's favorites!
Bree checking out the ducks while the kids were on Big Thunder! She was SO good the entire time!
Adrie was excited to get into the pin trading tradition this year and she even got her own lanyard and medalion! She had to trade pins with every worker that had them-even if they weren't cool ones she thought she had to trade something. The pin trading has become a really fun tradition and Kyra really got into it this year and was very proud of herself for finding 2 new full collections.
Adrie loved Dumbo-too bad it is like the longest line in the park so we only went on it once.

Bree took lots of cat naps in the stroller and she fell asleep both times we went on the haunted mansion ride!

I LOVE this picture because it captured Bree laughing so hard on the teacups!
Bree looking cute in dad's hat

The baby bjorn came in handy waiting in line because if Bree was out of the stroller she wanted to get down and crawl around.

It looks like such a fun trip and I love that you surprised them! I hope we make it there while Bailey is still in the princess-loving stage!

Ohhhhh! I can't wait to go back! Your blog made me so homesick for Disneyland. I love that place more than my kids! Thanks for all the great pics! Looks like a fun vacation!

What great pictures. The girls look so happy. Disneyland is the best when they are at this age.

Bree looks so big in these pictures. Oh it make me so sad we couldn't go this year. It is such a fun time to go. And I can't believe you braved the tea cups. I can't even watch them.
