Island Park part 1

We went on vacation with my whole family last week to a cabin in Island Park. We stayed for a week and had LOTS of fun (and LOTS of pictures)! All of us were in one cabin (which Cam's sister was nice enough to let us use) and we had 11 of the 18 of us in one big room-just a week full of sleepovers!

When we got there and were unpacking Bree decided to get inside this box and then cousin Tate decided it would be fun to push her around the house and then lock her in the closet!

Everyone quickly made use of the hot tub on the back porch and we all spent lots of time in it throughout the week.

The kids played all sorts of fun games together and they especially loved this little secret hide out under the stairs.

One perk about the kids being thrown off schedule with all the playing and staying up late, is that Adrie let me cuddle her on my lap and even fell asleep. I realized this trip how big my girls are getting and it made me sad, so it was nice to cuddle her for a little bit.

The guys had a nightly ritual of "guy time" in the hot tub with their Apple Beer.

The first day, the girls started out the day swimming pool at the clubhouse with the kids while the guys were shooting.

That afternoon we headed out to feed these HUGE fish at the bridge

After feeding the fish we attempted to try and catch some.

The girls each got theri own poles before the trip and they spent days in the front yard practicing casting them so they were REALLY excited to use them!

Bree and grandma hanging out...Bree has recently started babbling and jabbering like she is carrying on this full conversation and it is hilarious to listen to her and watch her little mouth try and form sounds...so she is really interested in how the mouth moves when you talk and she just stares at your mouth when you are talking to her. It is SO cute!

and THOUROUGHLY enjoying the muddy puddle.....

It was hilarious to watch the sequence of her exploration of the puddle. At first she was cautious and slowly just walked back and forth through it..........

then she fell completely in.............

clapped for herself................

then after falling she realized she could also splash in the water with her hands.....

and then proceded to put the water in her hair ..............

She was a mess but it sure was cute to watch and get on video......
