For Kyra's birthday we headed to grandma Camme's pool for a swim party.

After swimming we had a BBQ. We had a flip flop theme for the party with
Flip FLip cupcakes.....
FLip Fliop notebooks for the goody bags......
Flip FLop ice crean cake on a graham cracker "sand"...... (So there is no side view of these because of the little mishap with my freezer. I made the cakes the night before the party and put them in the freezer overnight and in the morning we learned that a breaker had blown over night on the circuit with the freezer so they were melting. ALl the candy had slid down the sides. Luckily we were able to salvage them for the most part)
and we had a flip flop pinata!

me and my girl! Ky you are such a great big sister and you are always willing to help! YOur sisters both look up to you and adore you! We are so proud of you and love watching you learn and grow every day!
7 fun things about Ky:
-She LOVES doing little shows to music with her sisters and friends
-She loves strawberry shortcake
-She has great friends and is always including everyone with her at school
-She loves the color blue right now
-She is VERY coordinated and can pick up new things extremely fast!
-She is a great singer-and learns songs after listening to them once or twice
-She has a very tender heart and a fun personality

Such a fun party. Sadie had a BLAST!!! And, you guys did a fantastic job applying sunscreen to our poor pasty child - I know that was a chore! Thanks so much for having her come and I'm so glad Ky could have a great birthday.
What a party you threw! Such a fun and cute idea with the flip flops. The cake turned out way cute, dispite the freezer mishap. Thanks for inviting Halle. She LOVED it. I can't believe she's 7! That really does sound so old. I guess that means we're getting old too. I hate that! I love that banner that Chaly made, tell her I want one also!
