Random Rewind

With all the craziness of Halloween, I missed posting some of the other happenings in October. We had the big auction at Ky's school which was a lot of work on our part with the PTA but it turned out good. Each class made art projects to "sell" to the parents to earn money for AR tests.

Ky's grade got to sing a few cute songs

Grandma LInda came too, since dad had to work late.

It was a western theme and we had lots of fun

We also enjoyed eating lunch at school with Kyra for National School Lunch week.

Adrie and Bree always love to go out to recess with Kyra

Along with our fall salsa canning we also managed to can peaches

and the girls were really excited to help make raspberry jam

Cute apron honey

Canning is always such a satisfying experience to look at the finished product afterwards! We also went and picked grapes with Papa Steve and grandma Camme and made YUMMY homemade grapejuice

Bree decided to try the grapes right off the vine.

Those grapes are gorgeous! I'd eat them right off the vine too. Look at you all domestic! Should we really be friends, with me so not-domestic at all??
Kris looks like he is loving that school lunch! But, I bet Kyra loved having him there even more. You guys are good parents for sure!

I love all your canning adventures. You're lucky to have a great husband that is so willing to help. Kris looks great in an apron, too!
