Bree loved riding the bus....she just didn't love the rule of sitting down
it was SO fun to see her interact and play with all her classmates
Bree has a new friend in her class! Spencer just started this week and also has DS, they are the only 2 in the school with DS right now, so it is fun that they are in the same class!
This is Madison and Bree.
Madison is one of Bree's BEST friends at school. Madison is a typical little girl and has taken to Bree this year. The teachers are always telling me how Bree has her "gal pals that she chums around with" (Madison and Reese) and I got to see it in action at the fieldtrip. I was so happy watching them together I wanted to cry! They were SO cute together! Just giggling, playing games and showing eachother things on the bus ride, hugging eachother, and playing together. Bree wanted to know where Madison was at all times and had to sit by her on the bus! This little girl is SO sweet with Bree and she doesn't care that Bree can't speak as well as her, or that Bree hits/taps her to get her attention, or that Bree showers her with HUGS! She is just her friend and I just could not be happier to see this real friendship for Bree! I am just sad that this little girl will not be at Bree's elementary school! But until then, these two are having a GREAT time together and I my heart was SO happy watching them!

Just got home and read your comment, along with your moms on my blog! That was so sweet, and truthfully - I just wish I could tell the world about Kareen, and all the other children. I think so many people would be inspired to open their hearts (and maybe even their homes!) if they truly understood what a gift these kids are! My mom was just blown away when she looked at Reeces Rainbow. People just dont know how MUCH these kids suffer without families!!!!
Anyway, Please consider me your personal adoption cheerleader :) Truthfully I am living vicariously through you, and adoption has always had a special place in my heart. You guys are such a great example. I want to shout it from the rooftops!
I am trying to think of what I could do to raise some money for Kareen. Keep me posted if I can help in any way. I have ties to Discount Queens and can freely advertise on there and get people informed about giveaways and things - so just say the word!
I am always wondering and hoping and praying that Emily will have friends that love her for who she is, it's so great that Bree has that! Her smile is irresistable!
