- Why are you adopting a child with special needs when you already have a child with special needs?
- Why do you need to go overseas to adopt when there are children here who need families?
- Why are you spending so much money to adopt a child?
- WHY?
This is Terri Lynn at age 4 1/2 years
and just 3 weeks later this is the "new" her. She was transferred to an adult mental institution simply due to her age and her special needs. Take a minute and look at her eyes. Take another minute and look at the bruises on her face. Now spend another minute noticing the difference in her hair.
This is the why? Because these children don't deserve this
It just breaks my heart and hits a little too close to home to think Mia would have been in the same situation right now.
She would have been merely surviving.... but instead she is here with us thriving!
Terri Lyn, and all the other children waiting for families, could have been my girls.
Simply because they were born with an extra chromosome, they would have been locked away forever
Praying that this sweet little girl finds her family before its too late. All it takes is spreading her picture and one of the people who sees her picture could be her momma!

Kecia, that's exactly how I feel, and that's why I bombard my fb wall with these kids pictures! If people would just take a second to click on share, more and more people would be reached. And that would mean more potential families or parents to see a possibility!!

This is why I am trying so hard to move quickly to go and get our little one. This breaks my heart. I am so glad that Mia did not have to experience this.
My heart breaks for these children, it's just not right. I am so happy for Mia, she has been so wonderfully blessed!

Shocking case - makes me want to spread the word! Kecia, it was so wonderful to meet all of you the other day. You are an amazing woman, and have a mission that you are fulfilling wonderfully. Hopefully you can get the rest you need now (or soon). My prayers are with you all. (Pay no attention to the few naysayers about these miraculous rescues)
