A House full of little women

Yep......to all of our surprise, we found out we are having GIRLS!!!!!

TWO MORE GIRLS!!!!!!

Look at those cute little head side by side!

Baby A

Love seeing that strong heartbeat

Baby B

LOVE the little feet and hands!

The arrows are pointing to the membrane seperating the two sacs....the babies are identical so they share the same placenta but have seperate sacs

You can see from the picture that the baby on the right has a lot more room and fluid than the one on the left. Which is a concern.... so although today every thing looked great....the babies are exactly the same size and all the anatomy looks great....they are concerned that this could present a problem in the future so we are now going to be seeing a perinatologist as well as our OB. We see the maternal fetal medicine appointment on monday so we will see what they say but for now my doctor has put me on moderate bed rest, which means no lifting (that will be a challenge with Mia and Bree) and I have to have 12 hours of laying down/rest time a day (including sleeping hours). We are THRILLED that things looked so good today and will just keep praying that these two sweeties keep doing what they are supposed to do. As long as they keep sharing the nutrients and fluid the rest of the pregnancy we will be good! Because they are identical and in the same placenta, if something went wrong with one, it would also go wrong with the other, which is why they will be monitoring them so closely from here on out. The positive about that is we will get lots of looks at the babies with lots more ultra sounds!

So excited for all of you! I just had a friend go through the exact same scenario with twin girls, and all turned out just fine with the Grace of God! I have 5 sisters and loved having someone around all the time :) Congrats!

My friend grew up in a family of all girls (as well as my sister in law, 6 little girls all in a row), but when I told my friend how terrible that seemed to me to only have sisters she said, it is wonderful. It is like living a Jane Austen novel. Since then I have wanted to only have sister. congrats! We'll be praying that the little girls grow well with no complications, and that bed rest will be possible!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

With my twins (also mo/di) we also had concerns of possible ttts, but it never developed, just turned out one twin was and still is bigger than the other. Prayers that things go safe and smooth with yours as well!

FYI- My grandpa had five daughters and no boys. I was the first grandchild (a girl, obviously,) but since then every single child that has been born in our family (13 total) has been a boy. So tell your hubby not to worry much about being outnumbered... he could get a slew of boys with his grandbabies! :)

Such great news - everyone in your family will have a shoulder to lean on and at times cry one. A best friend for each girl! Who could ask for more. Your heavenly father has clearly been guiding you for the past year andblessing your family... we will continue to do so. Take it as easy as you can - quite the oximoron - if there is ever anything we can do to help... you know where to find me.

Congratulations on 2 more girls!!! Wow! My twins were also mono/di and they did great and we had them at 35 weeks 6 days. They were monitored closely because of the risk of ttts, but they never got it and everything turned out great! Lots of water and protein :) Definitely listen to your drs about the modified bedrest. Twin pregnancies are so much harder on our bodies than just a single baby. I had to do modified bedrest at about the same time and then didn't have to go on full bedrest until about 30 weeks. It is tough, and I only had a 2 year old at the time! Hang in there!! I used to have to just sit down and then let my 2 year old climb up on my lap. It is sooo hard not to pick them up. If you ever need help or want to talk more about having twins, just let me know!
