A bunch of girls from my ward decided to go to the festival of trees last week. It was really fun to see all the creative trees and read all the stories behind them!
I knew my girls would have enjoyed these two trees the most!
We topped the evening off with warm homemade cinnamon rolls! Our celebrity siting for the night was Jody Sayland from Fox 13 news. I know, Mark and Mark, she isn't Dick Nourse but hey we can't be as cool as you! She was SO much shorter in person than I would have thought. Kris laughed when I told him that-he was like "yeah you have room to talk"Anyway it was a fun night out!

You come in a close 2nd to Mary in coolness for meeting someone famous. Seriously I about peed my pants over the whole Dick Nourse thing!
I guess I missed this part when I read through the first time! I can't believe I could do that. Any Utah celeb sighting is "cool" in my book. No, she hasn't been with Fox for 43 years, but she is an icon nonetheless. Good work!
I missed the festival this year. My hubby isn't crazy about it. I love it though. The trees are amazing! Congrats on your brush with a celebrity. Jodi IS an A-lister, right?
