Christmas morning

Merry Christmas 2007! This year was the first year we slept at our own house christmas eve. It was really fun to be with our own little family and to be able to open presents and play and not be rushed out the door. We didn't go anywhere until 4 that day and the kids loved being able to enjoy their toys at home. Being a parent makes christmas so much fun! I love watching the kids and the magic of Christmas morning! Our friend has a son with down syndrome and he told us one of the best things about it is that Bree will still be a kid at christmas longer! We had a great morning and I tried to narrow the pictures down a little.
Kyra got twin dolls and a twin doll stroller. The dolls interact and talk to eachother and to you and they are really cute! She picked names for them all by herself-Tina and Marina. I thought those names were so cute! Adries' doll also talks a litte and she named it Baby emma-after kyra's old doll. Adrie really does do anything Kyra does!

Adrie and Kyra hugging after they opened their gifts to eachother. The best part about Christmas morning was that Kyra finally got to give us the presents she had made at school and she had been SO excited to give us! She made Kris and I cute gifts in her class and the first present she wanted to open was those. She ran right over when she came downstairs and found them under the tree and gave them too us. She had also taken her own money to this little shop at school and picked out gifts for all of us there. she got me a ring, Kris a keychain flashlight, Bree and little plastic angel, Adrie a bracelet and she even chose little things for the grandparents. It was so cute and thoughtful!
Adrie and her "new growing puppy" she had been asking Santa for!
Bree was super cute on her first Christmas! She had fun playing with the toys now that she has decided toys are interesting to her!
She really liked all the wrapping paper!Kyra was really excited to get High School Musical for the WII! She does really good at it too!
Mom and the girls! As some of you know Kris surprised me with a vinyl machine for Christmas! I am SOO excited and afraid I am going to be really addicted to it once I figure it all out! (More to come on that later)
Kyra and her twins!
Adrie in her Ariel dress up feeding her baby!
The girls have LOVED this playhouse and they even make us get in it with them!

After we had opened presents my mom, dad,Bret, Jess and Chaly and Cam all came over to see the girls stuff and we loved that. It was nice to have them come to our house!Chaly and Bree playing with Bree's new toy. This door/house is so cute! All of my girls have played with it constantly!

Kec, hope you're having Christmas for the whole neighborhood with all those gifts! Santa was sure generous to your kids this year! I guess my kids are a little more rotten than yours. Looks like fun times! That's a cute stroller, Sadie would love it.

I'm just getting into the girl toys at my house. Cambrie would be in heaven at your house. Your girls got some fun toys. I'm completely jealous that you got a vinyl-cutter. Kris did good!

It looks like you had so much fun! Your girls are so sweet, I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of Adrie in her Ariel dress! It's so dang cute! I love that you matched the girls as well in your P.J's. Where did you find those cute things, I'm obsessed with matching pajama tops and bottoms.

What a fun christmas. I agree with Mary...your kids (AND you) must be at the top of Santa's nice list. I'm jealous that you got to stay home all day and take your time opening gifts. That's the way it should be. The pictures are so cute. I love little Bree in her house.
