Last week started out REALLY rough! Monday started out bad and just kept getting worse. Sparing the details, it was basically just one thing after another and when I was at the end of my rope, I called Kris to see what time he would be home that night, and he said "honey I am in Logan and I won't be home until Wed." WHAT?! Ok, I knew he was going to Logan but I just assumed it was for the day and apparantly in the midst of my bad morning I didn't see him packing a bag. He assumed that I knew. So that was the last straw-or so I thought-in my day and I hung up the phone and had a good cry. After gathering myself I made a rash decision to take the girls to get their hair cut at Supercuts. They had been wanting their hair cut like their friend Sadie's and our friend Bonnie wasn't working Monday so I thought, how bad can Supercuts do? Well I learned my lesson.......They Butchered their hair-seriously! The picture doesn't even begin to do it justice! So I went home and cried some more!

Luckily, Bonnie saved us and fixed their hair a few days later!!

Now they both have really cute cuts-shorter than planned because we had to fix the mess but now they are cute! THANKS Bonnie!!! We will never be Cheat"hair"s again!

Tuesday things kept up with the bad week theme when we decided to go get dinner at Noodles and Company to support Ky's school. They were having a fundraiser there and part of the proceeds went to the school so we arrive, order and are looking around not seeing anyone from school so I call Julie and lo and behold we were at the wrong location. So now Kyra is crying, Bree is throwing food and acting like a 2 year old (nice time to start this) and mom is DONE!

Luckily, 3 Terrible, Horrible, No good Very Bad days can be made better when your cute husband comes back in town with a bouquet of flowers to say "I'm sorry you had such a nightmare of a week and I wasn't here"!

Bree's new obsession is climbing up on the computer the minute she sees it is empty and this time she decided to empty the entire box of newly opened kleenex.....

On to this week:
Kyra celevrated the 100th day of school yesterday and got to dress up as an old lady! She looked so great in this wig but unfortunatley she didn't leave it on past the bus stop. Apparantly she was worried the boys would laugh at her! Seriously?!

She did keep the rest of the attire on and had a fun day! When I was asking her about which friends dressed up she said "well one of my friends told me she was not going to dress up because old people just freak her out. She really gets freaked out by all those wrinkles and stuff" So funny what kids say!

So here's to a much better start to our week than last week!!

Sorry about last week! What happened? We'll have to chat about this. I feel so awful now that you brought me dinner!!! (I should have brought it to you!) It definitely looks like Bree is starting to act like a 2 year old. . . good luck with that. The new haircuts are darling - your girls look so cute with short hair. I've made the supercuts mistake before too! And, Ky looks so great as an old lady - too bad she wouldn't keep the wig on - it's perfect!!!
So sorry you had such a crappy week. I absolutely love the haircuts though!
Sorry you had such a bad week! I know how that goes. My boys both horrible haircuts tonight, ugh. I just wanted a trim and yikes, the final result was not what I was looking for. Luckily hair grows and your girls look cute! Hope the next few days are better for you!
I had bad days!! Kyra looks so cute as an old lady - I love her sweater and the cane is great! Her smile gives her real age away though :)
I felt so bad about your week. I still think you handled everything much better than I would have.
The girls' hair cuts turned out really cute when all was said and done. It's just crappy that you had to pay for them twice. I love Kyra's old lady getup. Halle thought she looked really pretty.
I'm sorry it was such a rough week. It's always worse when you're hubby's not there to offer reinforcement. Love the cute haircuts on your girls though. And that granny outfit...too cute!
I am sorry you had such a bad week! Why is life like that sometime. Kyra ended up looking so cute. Where did you find the stuff.
I'm really sorry you had such a rough week last week. At least you made it out alive. :)
Sorry about the bad week Kecia. When it rains it pours, huh? I think the haircuts are darling... how sweet of your husband to bring you flowers...
I hear ya! Our week this week is going as yours was last week. I'm sorry, I know how you feel. I am ready to scream! I think it's been one of our worst weeks yet as far as the kids behavior and my patience goes.
sorry you had a bad week! good thing your girls are so cute that they could pull off any bad haircut. they look beautiful with their hair all fixed. i will be sure to not take my little camree to supercuts!
Sorry you didn't have a good week. The girl's hair turned out really cute!!
So you asked me awhile back if I had any ideas for Bree's 2nd b-day. (sorry it took so long, I didn't forget!!) But I had to really think about it because so much of what we got her she had no interest in : ) Here are a few things that between her b-day and now she has really liked, has helped her or that they use in school!
Ella LOVES pretend play so..
Baby dolls
play dishes
purses
cell phone
LOVES books!!
toy laptop
at her school they use piggy banks (toy one or homeade one, take a coffee can make a slit in the top and use poker chips) it really helps with fine motor skills. Also there are these pegs, they use them at school and we have them at home, I will have to find a site and send it to you but we got them at a Learning is Fun store. Its just plastic pegs that you put into a small hole on a foam board.
Stacking cups are good
Pop beads (baby toy but good for our kiddos)
For Christmas she got a Fisher Price My 1st Doll House that she LOVES, it is good for her imaginative play and also fine motor.
Even a coloring book and crayons is good.
Okay hope that is enough, if I think of anything else I'll tell ya : )
