Valentine's catch up

We had a few days of Valentine related activities starting with Kyra's class party at school on friday. She got to make a Valentine's box this year (man how I have memories of this from when I was young-it was always SUCH an ordeal to come up with the perfect idea for a box and now I am doing it with my daughter-weird!)

Kyra and I designed her a Valentine's purse and she thought it was great!
I was in charge of Kyra's party and Adrie always loves to come too! Then we tried to take some Valentines' photos.......

We watched Aiden and Avery while Julie helped at Halle's party......

Took some more photos...... ( I really need to learn how to use my camera other than just on auto focus-but it sure is fun to play with)

Kyra and Halle got to play for awhile after school too.....

On Valentines the girls opened their little gifts and then the girls and I headed to the primary PJ and pancakes party. Kris had to work all day so he didn't get to join us. The day didn't go exactly as planned. We had a little family emergency to attend to and thanks to amazing friends who know just when to call and check on you, my girls were able to enjoy the evening with their friends at Julie's
Kris and I spent the evening with my family (it turned out to be just a scare in the end) and then headed home to have a shortened version of our Valentine's plans with the girls before bedtime. THANKS again Julie and Tucker!! You were lifesavers!!
