After tax day last week Kris was able to take thursday and friday off work so we had a little family "vacation" around town. We started off going to the Discovery Museum with some of Kris's family who were on their spring break.
Of course Bree LOVED the ball area.....
so did the twins!
Bree LOVES anything musical so she was excited to find the instruments.

They really enjoyed checking out the helicopter (or as Adrie called it the hepiclopter) on the roof...although Adrie was a little nervous it was really going to take off.
Kyra, Bree, Adrie, Griffin and Crew (Ava didn't want to be in the group picture)Later that day we went to grandma Camme's for a sleepover and then on friday morning we went to this fun indoor swimming pool.
It was amazing how much easier it was to go swimming with dad there to help!
Once again Bree loved going on the slide with Kyra.
We had a great time hanging out with dad and the cousins! We are REALLY enjoying having dad around more now! The last two nights he has gotten home from work before we were home and we came home to dinner prepared for us both nights!! It was GREAT!!

I love the idea of a vacation at home! Your pictures are way cute. I love Bree's orange swimsuit. We'll have to go swimming there sometime. Looks fun.

I bet you guys are WAY excited to see Kris a lot more now. :) I also like the idea of a "staycation." It's good to see the things that are local. I need to be better at that! Let's all get together ASAP.
It really must be so great - for all of you - to have Kris around!!That pool looks really fun! And, Kyra looks like a regular ol' Nadine Whimmer in that news chair. But, the best part of all is coming home to dinner - way to go Kris!

I'm glad you guys survived tax season. All of you definitely earned a staycation! Your little Adri always makes me smile. I love how she says helicopter.
