Spring Break part 1

Last week we had spring break so since Kris couldn't take time off right now and Tucker had a big work project, Julie and I took the kids to St. George for a few days! Tucker's parents were kind enough to let us use their house and we had a WONDERFUL time away from the snow and cold! We loaded 6 carseats in my van and boy was it a treat getting the back 3 buckled up every time because they were so close together. Bree has decided she wants to use the headphones to watch the movies-it was hilarious because she would put them on like this and watch the movie totally serious like she was really wearing them on her head!!Considering we had 6 kids in one car, we faired pretty well on the drive and on the way there, the babies even slept at the same time for a little while, until we had to take another potty break. When we got there on sunday the kids had fun playing in the sand. they pretended they were cooks and they were baking cakes on the rocks.

Julie and I enjoyed this time of night when the kids got ready for bed and we got to watch T.V. a little!

Monday we started out the day swimming. It wasn't warm enough for the outdoor pools to be open yet but the indoor ones were fun!

Now that Bree can walk she doesn't want to sit anywhere very long and she gets really mad when I have to carry her somewhere. Aww the joy of the independent phase! But I can't complain because I am so grateful she is walking so much!

Later that afternoon we headed to the fun big park on the hill!

Bree would get really nervous at the top of the stairs to the slide where the holes were.
Adrie was really excited that she figured out how to do the monkey bars! Kyra was a great teacher and would hold her up as she was practicing.

Bree is OBSESSED with remotes and phones and she will sit in front of the TV trying to use the remote to turn something on.

Bree and Avery liked hanging out in the bean bag chairs together. The kids had lots of fun playing games together. They even made Julie and I play Twister against one another......I won!
