We got to finally meet a new friend who found us through our blog and we have been emailing back and forth for a few months. This sweet baby Jayne made me miss Bree's baby stage! Her mom Summer and I had a great time talking and getting to know eachother. It was really nice to be able to talk to someone who really understands and is going through some of the same ups and downs of having a child with down syndrome. We had a great time and we will definitley be getting together more often!
Summer has 2 other kids too that Kyra and Adrie had a great time playing with at the park. Hopefully Jayne and Bree can be good little friends one day.
Last week was the last game of Kris's softball league. The girls have loved going to his games and night and playing on the playground and getting ice cream.

FOr the past few weeks Kris has been working really hard getting the back yard ready to poor a bigger cement pad and they finally got it done.

It is really nice to have a bigger patio out back! Thanks to Tad and Steve for coming up and helping with the cement pour!
We had a fun visit from an old college friend on friday! Our friend Brooke dated, and married Kris's roomate and basketball buddy from colleg and so we spent lots of time with them through our dating years! They live in Arizona now and we haven't seen them for years so it was fun to see them, although we didn't get to see Mark. We had fun catching up and laughing about the good old dating days!

I wish I had known about Kris' softball league. i would have come to every game.
I love the pictures of Bree and Jayne! So cute! That was fun to get together and visit. Call me if you want to do something this week before school starts.
That little Jayne reminds me so much of Bree when she was little. How cute! And, how great to meet someone in a similar situation.
Also, I love the new pad in the backyard. What a great place for the kids to play Way to go!!
