Bree even gave it a try! It was SO funny to see her trying to walk around in the skates

Bree was like a little gumby doll slipping all over the ice.
After Bree was done she and I sat in the bleachers and watched the others skate.

After the skating we went back to Lida's and played games and rang in the new year!
We found a new favorite "noise maker"....the good old punch balloons!

i'm glad Kris is so excited about 2010! I think it is adorable that Bree wanted to skate on her own. THat is something I don't try often. I have never taken my kids but yours did great! I will have to try it out.
Good idea to go ice skating! I'm impressed your girls did so well. I think I am quite possibly the worst ice skater in the world. And, fun party at Lida's! I love punch balloons!! That last picture made me laugh out loud (lol as some may say) - hooray for 2010!!
I haven't been ice skating in years. Looks like the girls all had fun. Looks like you had a fun party at Lida's! Kris must have big plans for 2010 to have that much excitement about it!!!
