Last year I did a back to school scavenger hunt and the girls loved it so we did it again this year.
I leave clues related to getting ready for school around the house ....
and at the end they found their backpacks full of goodies
Bree loved her Dora goes to school book and Minnie mouse movie
I found this really cute book for Adrie called the Night before Kindergarten and I would highly recommend it as a cute little book for a new kindergartener!
They have been asking for the new Camp Rock soundtrack and were excited to get it, along with Selena Gomez CD
After the scavenger hunt we did the traditional back to school blessings which I always cry through and this year Kris was just as bad as me. He even gave Bree one this year and she sat still through the whole thing and Kris and I were crying before he even started as we looked at her sitting there with her arms folded so sweet. I always request one myself and this year was particularly special and needed, as I thought I would be adding another child to our family this school year and now I am not, so I was really grateful to have a blessing this year with all that had gone on the last few weeks before school.
