So I go to put a few things in the car and go back into the house and I am looking for Bree telling her it is time to go and I can't find her anywhere. Well I go out to the garage and there she is in the drivers seat of the car ready to go. She had found her backpack and put it on all my herself (it was upside down but it was on) and climbed in the car!

Bree is in the same classroom this year and with the same teachers so that helps alot! She totally remembered the routine and was NOT about to let me help her do any of it! last year she couldn't put her name tag on the cubby or hang her backpack up by herself but after a few minutes of concentrated trying,she did them both all by herself and I was so proud of her!

Of course, I cried all the way out the door and to the car! I am so happy that she loves being at her school and I know that she needs it but the selfish side of me wishes she could be home with me longer! I am so thrilled to see her improvement already just since the spring!
Adrie had early day today so she was home before Bree and was excited to come with me to pick her up. Of course, Bree had to stop at the fish tank on the way out to show Adrie!

Your girls are SOOOO cute! Can I ask what type of preschool she is in? Is she integrated with typical peers :)
I love all the pictures! They make me smile, laugh, and cry! Tell Adrie that I used to have a dress just like hers except it was blue with big green polka dots! xoxoxo
Bree could not be more excited to be there. . . the happiness is just exuding from her! I love it. So glad she had a great first day! (Love the old lady pose too, that is hilarious!)
I don't think I've ever seen a happier preschooler! What a doll.
Shes just SO. CUTE. Her smile in that last picture kills me! And the backpack on upside down - just made me smile! I cant wait for these milestones in Brigittes life - it still seems so far away for her, but I know it will sneak right up on us! And Im sure I will cry too. Its just what happens.
