The littles ride the Bus : 31 for 21

Due to my restrictions on lifting, I finally gave in and decided to let the girls ride the bus to preschool instead of me driving them. They were SUPER excited waiting for the bus.

It is nice because the bus comes right to my driveway. I am sad that I don't get to see and talk to their teachers and therapists at school each day though like I did when I drove them.

They were not nervous at all! They just climbed right on and waved goodbye and they were off....I was the one who was sad! They just seem way too little to be riding this big school bus!

It was a successful first bus ride and so far the week has been just the same. They cheer and clap when the bus pulls up each morning!

Here is a little video of the big adventure on day 3 of the bus ride.

Soooooo cute! You just made this mama much less nervous about putting my own littles on the bus next year. :)

I _loved_ having the bus come right to our house. Since our second is in K now and doesn't get a bus, now I'm taking them both (since it seems silly to have the oldest ride the bus when I have to take the second anyway). I found when the oldest was riding the bus it was important to keep a notebook in his backpack so I could write notes back and forth to the teachers about what was going on, since I didn't see them much.

I can't stand it! These pictures are so cute! That top one where they are just sitting there on the step waiting for the bus is awesome! My kids came in while I was watching the waiting for the bus video and of course I had to rewind it. We always love how Mia just has this family thing down pat! Then Gracie wanted to see the videos on the sidebar AGAIN. The ones where you are leaving the orphanage. She said, "one day, we'll be doing that..." So, she might not completely grasp that she won't be going with us but she knows her sister is there and will be coming home one day!

Bree has the most BEAUTIFUL smile! A lot of Mia's expressions remind me of our William. Makes me wonder if they're kindred spirits. :) I love her sparkly eyes.

Oh. I loved that video. They are so cute. Every time I see your little girls on your blog and you talk about them I get so excited for my Tily to be that age. Having the buss stop directly in front of your house is the best. I don't have to worry as much about my kids waiting for it because I can see them .

I adore the way Mia looks up to Bree. Watching her copy Bree, and join in with her is so cute!! They are perfect.

P.S. Bree is a mess!!! She cracks me up!

That is the cutest video!!! How cute are they running around together waiting for the bus to come. They are such adorable little buddies. Jayne starts preschool in January and will ride the bus and I am so nervous. I'm sure she will love it just like they do and I will be the one who has a hard time with it. So cute!
