Girls Trip

For my early birthday present Kris gave me a ticket to Cleveland, Ohio to see my cousin/best friend/sister/college roomate, Lexi. We have always been really close and roomed together all through college but we don't see each other nearly as often as we would like. I hadn't been to see her in 5 years so I was THRILLED at the chance to go. Thanks Kris! I got a full week off from doing all the daily routine things and I got to just hang out and do girl things! It was So much fun! It was the longest I have ever left Kris and my girls so I missed them a lot but we had a great time! So, my mom and I and Bree went (I would have loved to take the other two but couldn't afford it). We took this picture after we got off the plane at 11:00 p.m. and had been traveling for like 10 hours and this is what Bree's attitude was! She once again was a perfect baby! She was a great traveler and just went with the flow of everything we did!
Lex and I after church. On monday we all went to the kick boxing class that Lexi teaches and it kicked my butt! I came to a rude awakening of how out of shape I am but it was a lot of fun!
We got to do a lot of fun shopping while we were there! They have this awesome store called Steve and Barry's where nothing is over $20 and they are really cute clothes! We definitely need one here! It was funny because on the airplane on the way home I was reading US magazine and there was an article about this line of clothing at Steve and Barry's and the model was wearing the coat I had just bought there. Kindof funny! Lexi's boys, Ty and Carter, jumped right into the fashion fever with there headbands! We also went to some outlets, and another GREAT store called H&M that we also need here!
What would a girls trip be without shopping and eating out?! This is Lexi and I at this YUMMY place called Pinera's. We wanted to document all of our eating outings!

Dear Kecia - there is a Steve and Barry's opening in the near future near Cottonwood High on Van Winkle. We should go there together for the opening and maybe we can get our picture on KSL.com.

There's so much information, I don't know what to say! It looks like you had a great time. I'm so glad you got to go! Seeing pictures of you and Lexi together reminds me of when you were little "twins" at Ricks! So cute. Also, I love Bree's cute little face and expressions.

Just to clear up any confusion, Lexi is just Kecia's cousin, she isn't her sister as well. I didn't want any rumors starting about that relationship. Glad you had fun with your cousin.
