Random Daily Ongoings

The daily activities have been busy lately and I don't ever take time to document the day to day stuff so here is a little of what's been going on lately......

Bree is thouroughly enjoying food all of a sudden! Gotta love the bright orange baby food face-that stains everything, including their skin. She gets really excited about food now and she is now having real milk mixed in with her formula and doing great with that. Maybe it will fatten her up a little bit.She wore her first pony tail last week-so cute!
Adrie and Bree posing together.
Adrie, Adrie, Adrie.... she is in this random funny (although often frustrating) stage of wanting to dress herself-and redress herself like 10 times a day. In soing so she empties her entire wardrobe onto her floor a few times a day too. She was showing off her dorothy shoes here!
Another obsession lately (she seems to have a few OCD issues) is that if her shirt gets one speck of food or dirt or whatever on it she gets all worked up and usually has to go change immediately. So the other day this is what she came downstairs in-her flower pants and her nice sweater vest on backwards with no shirt under it-great look!Luckily it was already 5:00 and we weren't going anywhere so I didn't have to deal with trying to talk her into changing. She also thinks that is warm enough out to wear her summer wardrobe so she has been getting that out every day too. What a character she is!The thing is she does it all with her cute little voice and her little explanations that it is really hard to get mad at her.
Last week my sister in law's came to visit for a little bit with Ava and the twins. We went to lunch at Taco Time and went to the mall-it is funny to see what it takes to take twins and a one year old out. Kyra was excited to get to hold the babies-this is her and Crew. they are pretty much as big as bree now and they are only 5 months old.

I don't know what it is, but all of a sudden I am looking at Kyra and feeling like she is so old and I am not likeing it one bit. I have been getting so sad already thinking of her going to school all day next year and I just can't believe it has gone so fast. She has become a great little helper to me and I can always count on her to watch out for everyone. I have been having all these guilty mom feelings lately that I am so busy with the day to day things that I haven't taken time to just play with my kids and I am really struggling with how to balance it all. So if anyone has a fix it solution where I can have time to clean, feed, change, cook, do young women's, do laundry, homework, pay attention to Kris, etc. and play please let me know your secret!

So my friends and I have been making clips and bows lately and I have to say they turned out pretty cute, not to mention we had lots of fun makeng them together. I love having an assortment to choose from for the girls hair. So that is my crafty accomplishment for the week. Yeah ME!

We love the update on the girls! They are all getting so big! And I am SO excited that Adrie likes dressing herself, and it usually doesn't really match. I hope I have a child that does that. (Well I say that now, but we'll see if its true when it really comes down to it)

Love seeing the day to day stuff! Ty is also into dressing like it's summer out. He wore a pair of mesh shorts three days in a row and if we had to go out he wore them under his pants. Love the independence thing!
Love the flowers too. I've been busy doing the same. What did you use for the cute polka dot centers on the white ones?

Those hair things are darling. Zoe won't let me touch her hair, so maybe you can influence her.

That picture of Adrie with the sweater vest on backwards cracked me up. She is so cute - what a character!

You are the cutest mom! It's so fun to see your cute pictures and how happy your little family is. I love how crafty you are. When I start having kids I'll need to pay you to make the bows for my girls. They're so cute!

I had to laugh at the post about Adrie dressing herself, and having some OCD issues...Rylee's the same way! Even if Rylee gets a drop of water on her clothes, she immediately wants to strip down and change her whole outfit! I do more laundry for Rylee, than anyone! And Rylee has those same flower pants, hmmmm, maybe it's the pants! Very cute blog Kecia!

This is Cam. I really love Adrie's outfit. It's awesom. Too bad you didn't take her out that day. When we have kids I am going to let them where whatever they want even if Chaly gets embarassed....

I don't miss the stained orange baby food face. It sure makes a cute picture though. I love Adri's sweater look. The girl's got style! So, I am totally going to invite myself to your next hair clip and bow making event. I need to learn so I can save oodles of money. I seriously spend so much on hair accessories.
