Salsa R Us

It's that time of year again when the family salsa factory opens for business. We have mastered the production line now and can crank out DELICIOUS salsa in record time. We LOVE salsa day! We all gathered at our house again to set up shop.

Bree decided to take a big bite out of one....she doesn't look to thrilled about it
Kyra LOVES salsa day so we let her stay home from school to help too.

We had lots of helpers this year. Kris always takes the day off to do salsa and this year BRandon was able to join for some of it too

Curt and Amy were also here this year

Kris is our master project manager...He runs a tight, efficient ship and keeps everything running smooth!

Me and my HOT hubby-He looks good in his apron!

My dad and brothers came by to see the finished product. They had done all the picking the day before in Idaho.

This is how we felt after 12+ hours of being on our feet canning!

B man really wanted to pose with the salsa-such a cute pose B!

The final count....137 quarts of salsa!

Such a pretty sight! There is something so satisfying about seeing finished canning projects! And the house smells so good with all the salsa cooking! Thanks to our sweet grandma and grandpa for all their hard work in suppllying us with all the delicious tomatoes and peppers for this!

Salsa time again?!? This is quite the production. I want to know what you do with all of this delish salsa. I can attest to the yumminess - thanks to your generosity last year! I bet you were exhausted, but it does look like fun!
