Week at a Glance

We have had a busy, fun week full of Christmas festivities! We started out the week with Kris' company Christmas party. They have it at the Country Club and it is always really nice and REALLY yummy food!
CONGRATS to my cute hubby for winning EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR at the party this year!!! Way to go honey!!

Then Wednesday was the neighborhood live natvity that Kyra and Adrie were a part of this year.
Kyra was the angel!

Adrie was Mary!

The real baby lasted for a minute or two in the manger!

Adrie, Kyra, Halle and Aiden

We did some babysitting and kid swapping this week too. At one point I think we had 8 children at our house!
Bree LOVES when someone her age gets to come over-her and Avery can make quite the mischief together!

Saturday morning Kris promised the girls snowmen pancakes and they loved them!

One of the kids favorite christmas decorations is the sleigh Kris built-Bree has finally figured out how to climb in and out of it herself! Bree had her first official "specialist" doctors appointment this week. She met with an ENT (ear nose and throat) and they decided to schedule a surgery for next tuesday to get ear tubes put in and remove her adanoid (spelling?). Apparantly the adanoid is a useless piece of tonsil like tissue that can cause futher problems with fluid built up in the ear canals and so they decided it might help to just remove it while they are in there. I know we are VERY fortunate that she is 21 months old and this is the only thing she has had to do!! Kyra had the ear tubes at 6 months so we have done this before but that still doesn't make me any less nervous! I know it is not a big deal but they have to put her out and that is always scary to me. So I will be glad when it is over with! Hopefully it will reduce her ear infections and maybe even help her with better balance and language skills.

Saturday we took the girls to the festival of trees. Kris and the girls had never been before and they all really enjoyed it. We also got to watch our cute babysitter Jacie, dance! She did an awesome job and the girls loved watching her.

Kris liked this golf club tree.

The gingerbread villages were cute too!

Gotta love the GRINCH!

Thumbs up dude!

So there is a random update of our week!
(more to come on our fun christmas date night with our friends)

Cool pancakes!!! Sorry that Bree will have to have surgery. We will say a little prayer for her that all will go well and that she will not be to misrable afterward.

Pretty impressed with the pancake skills. Did you let them have syrup?

I guess I should have brought my kids over too - you wouldn't have noticed, right??

Your dress is really cute! How much did Kris have to bribe Dick to be employee of the year??? What fun Christmas stuff you guys have been up to!
