The best thing I never knew I needed

We interrupt this Disneyland program for a little Mother's Day post. I want to thank my mom and mother in law for all they do! I am lucky to have them!
My day started out lovely with the sounds of whispering voices at Kris's bedside at 6:30 am, asking "dad is it time to make mom breakfast in bed yet?" Followed later by a delicious breakfast in bed, with Roses, and my sunday ads ( I LOVE looking at the ads on sundays). After breakfast I was excorted downstairs to these beautiful handmade signs and cards and goodies from all the girls. They were really excited to give me the coupon books they had made. The best part of Mother's day are these precious gifts and the smiles on their faces as they give them.

Kyras poem from school went like this....

My mom always says...I love you
My mom looks pretty when...she is going on a date
My mom likes to cook...healthy stuff and lots of good stuff
My mom makes me laugh ....when she says your growing up too fast.
I love my mom because...she's nice and lots of other reasons. Thank you mom for doing a lot of hard work for our family. I love you!

We have been listening to the soundtrack of The Princess and the Frog alot lately and the title, and chorus from this one song really stood out to me......

For the way you changed my plans...

Of everything that I wanted to have

And made me see there was something missing

You’re the best thing I never knew I needed

Girl you’re the..

You’re the best thing I never knew I needed.

At first, I thought mainly of Bree when I heard these words because she really is something I never knew I needed. But I think in a way it fits with all of my girls, because in their own ways they have each contributed things to my life that I never knew I needed! And I am forever grateful for the blessing they ALL are in my life!
