Walk with Angels
Last weekend we participated with Kris's family in a walk for families with children with special needs. It was through the united angel foundation and was called "walk with angels" I love the name because it is so true! It was so fun and moving to see our whole family (minus Kris who was out of town and Rick) come together and support Bree and Lyla. Our team name was "Extra" cute cousins, since Bree and Lyla share the bond of the extra chromosome. It turned out to be decent weather...started off cold but the rain held off, so it was a nice event! Bree and Lyla are so lucky to have eachother and to have such a great family supporting them.

Watching your video really makes me sad we missed it. Looks like they had a good turnout :)
P.S. I'm kinda jealous you have a niece with Ds. Is it bad that I'm secretly hoping my sister-in-law's next baby is born with Ds?! I would never tell her that, but I would love for Max to have a cousin with an extra chromosome, too :)
So cute! Those girls are so cute together! p.s. those sparkly pals that performed. One of the little boys is my cousins son. I saw the video on her blog.

What a neat walk! Great pictures! Bree and Lyla are both so cute! I still can't believe that Bree has a cousin with DS. That is amazing! You have such a great, supportive family.
