What do you do when tax season is over?

Take a family vacation to DISNEYLAND!

We went to Disneyland a few weeks ago but I have been so swamped with our stake primary training and trying to get caught up on reality after being gone, that I haven't had time to blog about our FABULOUS trip! So Here goes the first of a few installments of our trip fun! I couldn't figure out how to seperate all the pictures so I am doing a post for each day. So there will be LOTS of pictures since I use this as my journal/scrapbook.
The girls were SO excited to have their own rolling suitcases!

The suite we stayed in had a seperate room with bunk beds and this table and a tv of their own for the kids...they were in HEAVEN!

Apparantly the kids weren't the only ones excited to start our visit to Disneyland!

Here goes DAY 1:

Heading to the tram from the parking lot

We took my mom with us for her birthday/mother's day and we had a GREAT time with her! She was very entertaining and helpful and we are so glad she was able to go with us! Between my mom and I both snapping pictures all week, we got LOTS of photos!

Bree was OBSESSED with the characters!!! I mean REALLY OBSESSED! She LOVED them! It was truely magical to watch her interact with them! We saw all the characters multiple times during the week because if Bree spotted them, we had to stand in line to see them...luckily it was not crowded so it worked well!, since Bree had no concept of waiting her turn to see her pals!

She had to kiss each of them goodbye and then blow kisses as she walked away. We had to literally drag her away so other people could have a turn!

She added Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald to her vocabulary so I guess that is a plus...new words!

TOONTOWN FUN

First small world ride...Bree was funny because the first time we went on any of the rides, she was a little nervous and scared and unsure, but then the next time we went she LOVED them all! I guess she just had to see what they were about before she could relax and enjoy them!

More Mickey

DONALD

Kyra was really excited because she was tall enough for everything, and Adrie was tall enough for most. Funny enough, one of their favorites was the Autotopia where they could drive their own cars and get their own drivers license!

Adrie was hilarious! She was all over the place driving her car!

Bree was SO excited and SO animated about EVERYTHING! It made it so much fun!

I always swore I would never be one of the moms who put her kid on a "leash" but it made things LOTS easier keeping track of this little adventurer. She is SO fast and can escape from my sight so quickly that this little backpack helped for some of the time.

Time for a snack break....in the middle of the sidewalk

Tea cup fun! This one makes me sick but they all LOVE it! They were all laughting so hard they couldn't sit up

Remember When

Do you remember your imagination?
When never land was your destination
Your magical adventure isn’t over yet
Just hold on tight and don’t forget
Every wish, every dream you ever had
Close your eyes and it will all come rushing back
Fly away, all you need is to believe
and remember when…

You never know where your dreams might take you
So keep them safe and sound
don’t let reality break you
Feel your sweetest memories come and carry you away
Just get lost in yesterday

Grab onto the innocence you thought you left behind
Every wish, every dream you ever had
Close your eyes and it will all come rushing back
Fly away, all you need is to believe
and remember when…

This is a song that they play after the fireworks and I loved it so much that I bought the CD last time we went....it perfectly describes how seeing the magic of imagination through your kids eyes, makes you feel like you did when you were a kid. I am a sentimental fool and get teary when I see the sparkle in my girls eyes at Disneyland!

all tuckers out...her shirt is fitting "grow happy"

Kyra was our tour guide and LOVEd looking at the map to plan our days!

Adrie Lou Bell

This was one way to keep Bree entertained while we were waiting for the parade to start

My mom has a love for lighthouses, who would have thought she would find one at disneyland!

The girls were excited to enter Pixie HOllow and meet Fawn.....

and Tinkerbell! Oh, and her friend Terrance who is in charge of the Pixie Dust...my mom said she thought he had had a little too much of it!

Kris was a good sport about all our pictures...and I mean it was constant pictures (as you will see in the next few posts) between my mom and I

Although the parade was at WOWing as the other years, it was lots of fun! It was more of a street party and the kids LOVED it!

Bree was ALWAYS first to be picked for all the parades and shows! She would wave and smile and everyone and she was SO excited to go out and dance! This guy couldn't get enough of her and her moves! It was so funny!

Here she is bustin out the twist with him!

I have no idea how these people can walk on these bouncy stilts, let alone jump and dance on them!

Ky and Adrie got to participate in the parades to with the Congo line!

Adrie and grandma

Bree was supposed to be doing her fish face but decided to bust out the cheese face!

I'm so excited to start seeing some pictures from your trip. I have been anxiously waiting:) Your girls are so adorable! Bree looks especially cute with her new haircut. Brave Kris to deal with all the girl power going on with that trip. But oh so fun!

My husband and I were Kyra's sunbeam teachers and when I saw your blog I just had to comment on how beautiful she is as well as your other girls. Bree was just an infant when we left and is just adorable!!! What a fun trip to Disneyland!!!

Disneyland is the perfect thing to do after tax season. Looks like such a fun trip. Lots of darling pics to use on your Christmas card! Love the one of you all together with Mickey Mouse. Did you get the wheelchair/special assistance pass for Bree? If so did you use it very much?
