Kris needed a break from all of us WOMEN!
Part of the fun of Disneyland for our family is pin trading! We LOVE it! We all have lanyards and love trading! Adrie is hilarious because she thinks she has to trade everytime...even if there is nothing she really wants, she still trades. I guess that is the fun of it right?! We gave my mom a lanyard and some pins and she was instantly addicted to the fun too! We now have a collection of over 400 pins as a family!
The Toy Story ride is one of the FAVORITES! Bree LAUGHED out loud the entire time! SHe LOVED it....as did the rest of us! And thanks to Heather, we found out Bree can get a special access pass that allows her and up to 6 guests to enter the rides through the exits so we never really had to wait in long lines....and the Toy Story one is usually really long. So thanks Bree for helping us out!
Kyra finally got Grandma on Screamin and she was quite scared and took the name of the ride to heart!
The carousel is placed in the perfect location because while people take turns going on Screamin, the little ones can go on the carousel!
It turned out to be a very WET day so we had to purchase Disneyland ponchos for everyone...but it didn't slow us down too much.
Fashionista Adrie was not a fan of the ponchos....so not fashionable enough for her!

As we were waiting in a long line for this ride, Adrie said to me "Mom I wish I had Down Syndrome." I assumed she was thinking she would like to have Bree's special access pass at this point to avoid the long lines so I said "Why, so you could have a special pass for the rides?" and she sweetly said "No, I just sometimes wish I had it like Bree" Adrie is my little sweetheart! She always asks me if she still has down syndrome...it's really funny!

How fun! We are heading to SeaWorld next week - I can't wait. And we always take Grandma with us too.
I'm loving all these vacation posts! It makes me want to take my kids so bad. We haven't been in years. It sounds like you'll have to give me the tutorial so I'll know just where to go and what to do when we go.
That's great you took your mom with you. So much fun and such a big help!
