Random catchup

I have been crazy busy the last few weeks with a vinyl boutique and planning my big stake primary training meeting (which will be over tomorrow-hurray!) so I am going to do a random catch up on a few happenings.......

First, we were excited to meet our new niece, Rayany (pronounced Hiyany).

Bree sure does! She LOVES having two new babies in the family! She can even say "ba ba" for baby!

Second-

The girls have been enjoying their new arrangement of their room with the beds not in bunkbed form and the other night I went in to kiss them goodnight and found this. When they got in bed they were in their own beds and then Adrie moved into Kyra's bed and they actually slept all night like this....SO cute!

Bree also got a new room arrangement and for some reason all the sudden she is loving sitting in the big rocking chair.

We are SOO excited because Bree is doing so much babbling of new sounds lately! She is putting sounds with her signs now and trying so hard to communicate a little more! So hopefully the new words will continue to come.

Spring Bonnet Parade:

The first grade at Kyra's school all decorated these fun spring hats and had a spring bonnet parade for the parents and kids.

Kyra was so cute as she was walking-she had quite the smile and beauty queen wave down.

It was a little chilly but Bree still thought it was great and she clapped the whole time.

We celebrated 2 more April birthdays...Cam and Papa Steve (not pictured-forgot my camera)! Happy Birthday to you both!

Fun with DAD!

After tax day last week Kris was able to take thursday and friday off work so we had a little family "vacation" around town. We started off going to the Discovery Museum with some of Kris's family who were on their spring break.

Of course Bree LOVED the ball area..... so did the twins!

Bree LOVES anything musical so she was excited to find the instruments.

They really enjoyed checking out the helicopter (or as Adrie called it the hepiclopter) on the roof...although Adrie was a little nervous it was really going to take off.

Later that day we went to grandma Camme's for a sleepover and then on friday morning we went to this fun indoor swimming pool.

It was amazing how much easier it was to go swimming with dad there to help!

Once again Bree loved going on the slide with Kyra.

We had a great time hanging out with dad and the cousins! We are REALLY enjoying having dad around more now! The last two nights he has gotten home from work before we were home and we came home to dinner prepared for us both nights!! It was GREAT!!

Easter 2009

Easter turned out to be a big day. We had all the easter festivities, my nephew's blessing, and some birthday celebrations. The girls woke up nice and early at 6:30 and I could here Kyra in her bed whispering "Adrie wake up I see eggs in our room!" They were really excited to start the egg hunt through the house.

We headed to kacen's blessing at about 8:30 so the morning was a little crazy but we seemed to fit it all in.

We made this cute vinyl tile for the table decoration for the blessing....

At home before the blessing, I tried in frustration for half an hour to get a good picture of the 3 girls together with no success and then we finally got one at the blessing.

Bree was obsessed with the stairs at Cam's parents house. She was just sitting on them singing.

So this weekend my dad walked in the room and Bree says "Pa Pa" and looks right at him! We were SO excited she has added a new word to her vocabulary! You can tell she gets so frustrated that she can't express herself like she wants to. Hopefully as we add new signs that will help too.

Adrie was super excited to wear her new dress because it was such a good "twirl dress". She is such a princess!

We played outside with the fun egg head parachuters the girls found on the easter egg hunt.

And of course we had to have the annual egg roll in memory of Grandma Richmond.
