She has been SOOO excited for her birthday this year! She literally started making invitations for her party like 3 months ago. Friday night she started jumping up and down saying "yes it is dark outside, that means in the morning it is finally my birthday"!!You would have thought it was Christmas morning because she couldn't even sleep the night before. She got up 3 times and kept saying "I just can't sleep I am too excited for my birthday"! It was so cute.
Kris cooked up some mean mickey mouse pancakes in his hard hat!
Adrie loves her pancakes!
We had a tinkerbell (and some pirates) party with her friends in the morning. We made chocolate covered pretzel sticks for our magic fairy wands.
For some reason Adrie loves this birthday sign we put out each year!

Adrie wanted Tinkerbell cupcakes for her friend party.
Bree was excited to have a party going on too
Adrie waited like this at the door for her guests to arrive.
Adrei and some of her fairy friends.....Natalie, and Nicole

We played "pass the magic tinkerebll wand" first and Halle and Adrie were the winners.
Then we searched for treasures in the sand.
Then wwe had a tinkerbell pinata. Adrie wanted this so bad and we searched for weeks for a tinkerbell one with the strings, and finally found it the day before the party.
Adrie was really excited about all of her presents and she loved getting so many Tinkerbell things!
It was so nice out that the kids played in the leaves for awhile at the end of the party.
Kyra gave Adrie this Mariposa Barbie that Adrie has been wanting so bad. After the friend party we cleaned up and got ready for round 2.......
My family all came over for the BYU/Utah game and although they are calm in this picture taken at the first of the game, by the end of the game everyone was jumping up and down and cheering! GO UTES!
We found these cute PEZ for the game
After the game we celebrated with Adrie and ate Tinkerbell cake-Adrie was really excited about the 4 candle because she said it would be easier to blow out.

I love this picture of Jess giving her high five for being 4 now!
Adrie loves little things like polly pockets and such so she was excited to get this polly plane. She also got the Diamond Castle Barbie that she has been asking for for a long time and when she opened it she hugged it and jumped up and down saying "yes this is the one I wanted"
Grandma Linda gave her her own "American Girl type" doll and she loved it!
Happy Birthday to my little Adrie! We love you so much! Adrie has always been our little sweetheart and she has the cutest little smile and the cutest little voice! She is always so thoughtful and sweet and she has such excitement for everything.
4 funny things about Adrie:
- she loves junkfood and is our pickiest eater but ironically she is the only one in the family who hasn't been to the doctor thist year.
- she ADORES Kyra and wants to do EVERYTHING Kyra does! Kyra has an american girl doll that she named Aubrey so when we asked Adrie yesterday what her new american girl doll was going to be named she decided on "Taubrey"
- she always has to bring random things with her on errands and she always waits until we are walking out the door to run back in and get whatever it is she needs to bring.
- She is very kind and polite and all around she has an extremely sweet personality!
Adrie we love you so much and are so grateful you are a part of our family!
Last sunday was Kyra and Adrie's primary program at church. They each had little parts and did a great job! It is always a proud mom moment to get to watch your children perform and have the courage to stand up in front of a big group of people. Kyra has always had a hard time with getting nervous and I was very proud of her for being able to do it.
This was Adrie's first program at church and she was really excited and she wasn't nervous at all. She just got right up there and did her part like it was no problem.
Then on Thursday it was Kyra's first grade program at the school. They did a fabulous job! I don't know how the teachers were able to get all the kids to memorize so many songs! And most of the songs were full of lots of words! The kids all had all the songs memorized and all their parts too. It was REALLy cute!! I always marvel at the work it takes to be a teacher and I am grateful they are willing to do these extra programs for us parents!

After the program we took the girls to build a bear to make "Tom the Turkey" for Thanksgiving.
Then we went to Wingers to use Adrie's birthday coupon. She was a little disapointed though because she really wanted them to sing to her and they didn't. I was excited to eat the asphalt pie she got though!
The girls and their new friend Tom the turkey.
Julie was REALLY excited to get on the plane and start our girls trip!

We had to be creative in finding a way to get everything home with us!

Love the hats girls! Julie literally shopped till she dropped!

By far the best part of the trip was laughing so hard we almost peed our pants! We laughed till our stomachs hurt and we were crying!
One night we ate a yummy dinner at PF Chang's and then maybe 1/2 hour later we drove over to Red Robin and had some fries and mud pie!! Really RANDOM!! That's the fun of vacation right?!!

What a great view from the back yard!!
