Trick or Treat

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Since Kris is finishing the trick or treating with the girls, I decided to blog while answering the door for the trick or treaters. The day started out with our first elementary halloween parade.

My "nice" witch Adrie
My beautiful Dorothy and her dog Toe-Toe!Grandma Linda came to the parade too! It was so fun to watch my little girl in her first parade! I sometimes can't believe I am at this point with kids in school!Kyra didn't want to carry Toe-Toe (I still can't figure out how to spell this-I keep trying different ways and nothing looks normal) in the parade because she said he was sleeping and it was too loud for him! What a silly girl!Mom and Adrie watching the parade at Kyra's school. After the parade we got to go help at Kyra's classroom party! It was fun to see her friends and her classroom.

Adrie, Kyra and Kyra's friend AshlynKyra and her friend Kylee
Adrie was SOO excited to get to go to Kyra's class and participate in the party. Kyra even got her a chair to sit on and helped her do all the activities. It was really cute! Kyra is a great big sister! One time I looked over and Kyra was next to the stroller with a whole group of her friends and she was showing Bree off to them all.Kyra and her teacher, Mrs. Lightfoot. Kyra and the pumpkins they carved in class!
Kyra's teacher also appeared as this great witch who made witch's brew for the kids. Adrie was absolutely terrified of her! She had this horrified look on her face the whole time and was clinging to me tightly as she said "I am NOT eating THAT!" Kyra's teacher is super fun and she put on a great little witch show!

After the parade we headed to Kris's work to trick or treat and then we went to lunch with him. This is my favorite deal for dinner on Halloween! The $5 jack o lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's! the best part is the cookie dough they give to the kids if they are in their costumes. Lucky for me Adrie doesn't ever eat hers so I get it!

Trick or Treat!

We ran into Halle out trick or treating so the girls were excited to go around together for a little while. They were jumping for joy over the popcorn from Miss Julie!

Dance class Halloween party

Today the girls had their dance class Halloween party. They got to play games and dance and have treats. They had a great time but they missed Halle and Sadie! About half the class was gone today because of fall break.

Cox Halloween Fun

So we have definitely got our money's worth out of our costumes this year with all the festivities we have been going too. Since it was fall break and Kyra didn't have school, Kris took the day off and we went to Provo to see his family. We spent some time at his sister's house who just had the twins and got to see her in action with her three babies! We went to another Halloween party at Kris's aunt's house and all the cousins got to dress up together! you can't see Ava's octopus very well but it was really cute!
The twins in their cute sketelons costumes!
Adrie holding Crew. She was really into holding the babies and talking to them. It was really cute. This is Tysen feeding the babies. Usually she has her one year old next to her with her bottle too because she always wants one with the twins. This is her life now-bottles and babies everywhere- and she is doing a great job. She is so organized and under control with everything! It is really fun having twin babies in the family.
Papa grows these HUGE pumpkins in his garden and then he lets the grandkids help carve them. They have to use big old saws to cut through them!

Adrie could fit inside the pumpkin it is so big!

Clapier halloween party/more birthday fun

Saturday after we got back from Logan we got together at my mom's for a costume party and birthday celebration for my sister, Lida and I. We had a great time and it was so fun to have Chaly and Cam in town for a few days! We really miss them!
Cam always likes to choose costumes where he can be in as little clothing as possible! Curt and Amy made a cute wrestling couple and Lida, Brandon and Tate looked great too.
Bret and Jess and the girls. Bret (the one holding Bree) was wearing my mom's old clothes and she was so tiny he could barely get the pants zipped up.

Mom made her yummy supper in a pumpkin!
Our cute caterpillar!
My mom got out some of my dad's old performing clothes from back when he was the lead singer in a band. She looked great! We couldn't believe dad used to wear those jumpsuits!
Kris sported a new variation with his shorts. Ok I have to tell a little funny sidenote story about Adrie. The other night she was saying the prayer before dinner and she started saying "thank you that Kyra could dress up as Dorothy, thank you that I could be a nice witch, thank you that mom could be the toothe fairy, thank you that Bree could be a caterpillar, thank you that dad could be.....then she leans over to me and whispers.....mom, what was dad again? I said "a guy from Mexico.....and she finishes her prayer with "oh yeah thank you that dad could be a guy from Mexico. Amen" It was really funny!

I love this little pose of my cute little nice witch!

Grandma even got a pinata for the kids which they loved! Another fun Halloween party!

WAC conference

My sister runs for Boise State and they were racing in Logan over the weekend so we made a little overnight vacation out of it. We went up friday and stayed at a hotel. We ate at the traditional Logan place to eat " Firehouse Pizza" which is SO YUMMY! Then we went swimming. Kyra brought her "Aubrey" doll in her cheerleader outfit so she could cheer for Chaly.
On the way to Logan we stopped at a Wendy's and the girls loved pretending to be Wendy-or Annie as they called her!
Tate was very interested in the doll and he kept trying to give her "bones" with his fists.

Birthday and Halloween Fun

On my birthday Monday we got to go to lunch with the girls. My mom treated us all to a yummy lunch at Cafe Rio-one of my favorites! Thanks Mom!

My mom, my sister in law, Amy, and my sister Lida-and our kids!

On my birthday we were also hosting a little Halloween party with some of our neighbors! It was a lot of fun! I only wish we had a bigger house so we could invite more people.
Adrie was my "nice" witch. She insists on making sure everyone knows she is a "nice" witch this year because she refused to be a "mean" witch!
Kyra was Dorothy with her dog To-To (i have know idea how to spell that)
Bree was a cute little caterpillar! We will have to adjust the hood before Halloween because it kept falling over her eyes but she won't be cold trick or treating in this one!
Kris was a mexican and I was the tooth fairy! Some of our friends-Konishis', Lehnhofs (not dressed up),woodbury's and Dansie'sThe kids had a great time playing games and it was nice to get to talk a little with the adults!
