Cousins

It was amazing to see how well our kids all got along all week. They have only seen eachother one other time-a few years ago- and they acted like they had been friends forever. They just entertained themselves with all sorts of creative games and had a great time! My girls have been bored this week without all the company. Carter decided to refer to my girls as "friend" and he would come up and say "come on friend, let's go play" It was so cute!

Bree likes to make messes in the back corner of these couches and then she often gets stuck between them.

We of course did a little shopping with Lex (Don't worry Keith, not much..just remember if you want the shopping to be limited on these trips, then always send her with the kids because who wants to take 6 kids shopping?) We found this cute new coat for Bree and the matching shirts for the girls (above picture)Unfortunately they didn't have them in Paige's size.
The kids took their build a bears with them everywhere we went!

Friday we had a get together with all our cousins and it was SO fun to see everyone. I don't know why we don't do it more often since most of us live here but it seems like it takes the out of town cousins coming to make us get together. We were sorry we missed Ali, Bonnie, Lida, Chaly and Jenny. Girls, we really need to make it happen more!

Bree looks so big trying to walk around. She is doing it a little more now.

Friday night we decided at the last minute that we needed an outing without children (or most of them anyway) so we got a babysitter and went to Big Rock to purchase these cute hats that I LOVE!

Then we met Kris at David's Kitchen for some delicious chinese and some adult conversation. Kris enjoyed being the only man with 6 women!

Then we had to say goodbye.......

Ladybugs

Like I mentioned in another post, Lexi and I obviously have the same taste and the girls ended up coordinating more than once. Today was their ladybug attire!

Build a Bear

We took the kids to Build a Bear-which is always a hit!

Bree and Paige in their cordinating outfits. Lexi and I found we had many of the same clothing options for the girls, even miles apart we like the same things!

Carter and Kyra both chose the bear carriers and they looked so cute on them!

After Build a Bear we had to make a spicy fry run to eat a burger!

Later that night we went to watch Bret and Jess wrestle. Adrie was really excited to take pictures with her new camera. All the kids had little cameras and they took lots of pictures of eachother throughout the week.

When we got home from the wrestling Kris had put on quite the spread of yummy snacks to watch American Idol. I will have to put him in charge of snacks more often while I am gone because he really pulled through.

NO, we didn't get the whole bowl to ourselves but YES I could eat it all myself if I tried! Kris's popcorn is that good!!

After Idol we stayed up late laughing and talking!! The best part about getting together with Lex is all the good laughs!!

Museum

Before we headed to the Dinosaur museum we had to get a little photo shoot in with Bree and Paige (the first of many).

the kids were SO happy that Bret had school off and was nice enough to come hang out with them all day. I decided things would be a breeze if I could take him with us everywhere we went!

After the museum we ate at the yummy little Cafe and had ice cream. A fun start to our week!
