Neighborhood Fieldtrips

I am trying to catch up on posts and realized I had never posted about the fun fieldtrips our neighborhood did together. We enjoyed a day at wheeler farm

The other fieldtrip was a tour of Papa Murphys Pizza!

The kids loved going back into the kitchen to see how everything is made and then we got to take home some pizza

Walk with Angels

Last weekend we participated with Kris's family in a walk for families with children with special needs. It was through the united angel foundation and was called "walk with angels" I love the name because it is so true! It was so fun and moving to see our whole family (minus Kris who was out of town and Rick) come together and support Bree and Lyla. Our team name was "Extra" cute cousins, since Bree and Lyla share the bond of the extra chromosome. It turned out to be decent weather...started off cold but the rain held off, so it was a nice event! Bree and Lyla are so lucky to have eachother and to have such a great family supporting them.

Spring Dance Recital

The girls had their dance recital and it turned out so cute! They were in the same class for the second half of the year

Their cute teacher gave them trophies, flowers and a certificate, plus they got flowers from family too. The girls LOVED the trophies!!
I am so excited to see Bree joining them in this recital next year!

Adrie Zoo Fieldtrip

Adrie has been going to preschool at a high school and it is so fun for the kids because they have "Big friends" (the high school students) to hang out with. I joined them on their fieldtrip to the zoo and unlike when I went with Kyra a few years ago, Adrie was perfectly content being with the big friends and just checking on Bree and I once in awhile. Bree was supposed to be on a fieldtip with her preschool but since this conflicted, she got to come with us and she was SO EXCITED about the bus ride!
