Kyra's Salon Birthday Party

I can't believe my girl is 8!!! Time seriously flies!!!

For her birthday this year we took a few friends to a salon for mini manis and mini pedis.
We opened gifts at our house first, then had cupcakes with nail polish decorations on them, and then headed to the salon

Showing off their nails! It turned out to be a perfect party! And low stress for me which is always a bonus-especially with the baptism the same weekend!

Cabin

We spent a few days at Kris' grandparents cabin in Heber with the cousins and it was so much fun to sit around and talk while the kids entertained themselves.....mostly doing this.....
Mattress surfing down the stairs entertains them for hours!!!

Since the guys were all golfing, Shaley and I had to figure out the grill....yes it is my first time ever on the grill-luckily you can't hurt hot dogs too bad!

Welcome Samson

Kris's brother Tadd and his wife Caitlyn had their first baby a few weeks ago! We are so excited to welcome beautiful little Samson Stephen to our family

Some random Summer Happenings so far

We finally made it to the community pool for the first time this summer!

We celebrated Fathers Day with our FABULOUS dad! Oh and we got a piano...a used one from our neighbor but it was a steal and we are thrilled to finally have one in our home!

We took the girls to RC WIlley to meet spongebob and DORA
All through the store they had Dora on the TV's and Bree was in heaven!

Then when she saw Dora in person she was ECSTATIC!!!

We have made our way to the free lunch at the park on our bikes a few times.....it is so great to have free lunch provided every day if you want it at the park!

The kids have enjoyed playing camping and all sorts of things in the yard with friends.
