Uncle Cam and Cousins

So technically these pictures happened before St. George but I didn't get them up until now but they were too cute to pass by. Kyra and her cousins love getting together because they can be totally girly. We went to Arin's wedding and it was beautiful and the girls always like to check out the bride and her "princess" dress. Kyra has to make sure she is wearing appropriate "princess"shoes-not tennis shoes or something like that0she thinks that is unacceptable. So before the wedding the girls got to play beatuy shop with aunt Caitlyn. It is great having a hairdresser for an aunt! They think she makes it way more fun to dry hair then mom does. So Caitlyn "set up shop" and the girls all waited their turn and "talked beauty shop talk" with Caitlyn. It was funny to hear her asking them about their boyfriends and seeing what they came up with. Mazie wasn't too shy about hers! Fortunately for Kris I don't think either of ours had a clue about that!

Uncle Cam and aunt chaly were in town for a few weeks and we loved it! The girls have so much fun with them! So one morning Chaly and Cam went running but Cam came back way before Chaly and so Kyra, Cam, Kris and Adrie decided to fill up a bunch of water balloons to sabotage Chaly with when she got home.

Adrie was very interested in the "baby" ones!

St. George

Ok so we went on a little roadtrip with out friends and while we were there the guys were doing some "blog mocking" (Tucker was really good at it-he has a blog of his own dedicated to it) and they were saying how mine and Julie's posts would be the same, the only difference would be the angle the picture was taken from. Well seeing as how Julie beat me to the punch (I know she used my weakness of being sick with strep for three days to get ahead) it looks like the guys were right, so for those of you who look at both I am sorry in advance for any duplicate pictures!



Because it was at least 105-108 the whole time we were there, the girls would go outside toplay at 7 in the morning-still in their PJ's. They has fun riding bikes, swinging and playing in the sandbox (or the beach as they liked to call it). They only lasted outside until about 10 and then it was time to hit the pool.







So the girls really played great together for the most part. They thought it was so cool that they got to sleepover in the same room with eachother. Kyra and Halle slept on the two twin beds and Adrie slept on the floor between them, it was cute! They are great little friends!

The kiddie pool at the house was great-especially first thing in the morning when we had it all to ourselves and Kris could play shark after the girls in it!












Adrie liked relaxing in "her boat". She was double safe from drowning with the floaties on her arms too!

Kyra and Halle are very good at posing and saying cheese for the cameras-their siblings (Adrie and Aidan) don't quite have it down yet!

The cement was so hot that Kyra liked laying on it to get warm-which didn't take very long and then she was back in the water.

The girls loved the waterfall in the kiddie pool because they could pretend they were washing their hair. It was fun to watch!

SO Bree, once again was a perfect baby. She just went with the flow and was content doing whatever we were doing. She had been laying here on her towel after a little dip and the next time we looked over she was asleep without even making a peep. What an angel!

Bree got to experience a little swimming in "the boat" too. We thought she might not like the cold water but she didn't seem to care. She just got cozy and chilled!

This is a rare shot to get Adrie looking and smiling at the same time as the rest of us. It was so fun to go on vacation because we get dad home with us all day-that's the best part!

Cinderella

We went to Cinderella at the outdoor Touchan theater which is really fun. We had great 4th row center seats so we got great views of the funny stepsisters facial expressions. I wish we could have filmed the girls as they were watching because it was a look of amazement on each of their faces. Adrie was especially funny! She kept makeing funny comments like "where is Cinderella's bed?" "why is she going up there?" etc. She absolutely loved it and she was all giddy and clapping with excitement as she saw Cinderella entering the ballroom down the stairs in her "bootiful" dress and "parkely" shoes. It was really fun! There is something magical about a girl and her princesses.





This picture is funny because the girls wanted me to get a picture of them with Cinderella's castle behind them but it had taken so many tries to get Adrie to look at the camera that Kyra was finally just forcing her "cheese".



The girls at the show. Tucker had to stay home with Aidan so Kris got to escort the ladies to the show and be our camera man too. He is such a good dad to three girls! He does all the girly stuff with them so well!

The girls were so excited to get to meet Cinderella, the prince and the stepsisters! The most exciting was Cinderella though.

Cinderella even got down at their level to talk to them and ask them their names.

Here is Kris trying to feed Bree water. She kindof gasped because it was so cold. So at the performance she started crying a little and so I took her from Kris and tried to feed her but she was a little restless for awhile and then she just hung out and cuddled but stayed awake for most of the show. So at the end the people behind us asked if she was alwyas that good and we said actually that was fussy for her. They were amazed!

Beating the Heat

After we were done swimming each day we wold come back to the house and have lunch and then find ways to entertain ourselves indoors. Bree chose to sleep alot and the other girls played all sorts of games and make believe. Twister was very entertaining to watch!

Julie and I decided to entertain ourselves at the outlets for a while and of course we found a matching outfit for the girls which they thought was the coolest thing ever.

Kyra loves to make Bree laugh lately and it is so cute-until Kyra gets a little rough-but most of the time it is cute!
