Boise Roadtrip

This weekend we went on a little roadtrip to visit aunt Chaly and uncle Cam in Boise, ID. We did lots of fun things together. When we first got there we went to chaly and Cam's new apartment and Chaly had made yummy spaghetti dinner for us. We played the WII, the girls played on the love sac and we blew bubbles outside.

The girls were eager to check into the hotel because they love staying at hotels! They love unplugging the phones in the room and playing house with them and the mini fridge. They also love to jump on the beds because they don't get to do that at home.

HANGING OUT AT CHALY'S AND CAM'S APARTMENT

The girls spent their time at Chaly's apartment shooting things with Cam's guns..........
........... and having tea parties with chaly's cute tea sets! They had fun with Cam's toys and Chaly's toys! Friday night Kyra and Adrie had a sleepover at Chaly and Cam's!

OLD FRIENDS

We also got to catch up with old friends! Boise has old memories for us because we lived there for a few years so it was fun to go back and reminisce a little. We went to Mike and Jamie's house where we met their little girl, Delaney (in her "soft dress"), and we got to catch up on old times with them. Delaney and the girls played great together and they loved the walk over to the park behind her house. It was so fun to see Mike, Jamie and Delaney after so long!

CHALY'S RACE

The main reason or excuse for going to Boise was to watch Chaly run! She ran the 1500m and she did a great job! She really wanted me to put her picture on my blog because she loves her "bummies". It was fun to see her run on her home field.

Ann and Troy came to the race with their kids too. The girls thought it was great to get to see some cousins again. Brody, Adrie, Nyah, Kyra, and Bailey

Cam was basically a kid magnet all weekend! He didn't even have enough of him to go around so Adrie can't be seen because she was holding on to his back on the other side because that's all the space she could find. What a good sport Cam is!


BREE'S BIG GIRL OUTFIT!

Bree was sporting some jeans for the first time and boy did she look adorable! She is smiling so cute now!

Adrie loves to be "nake nake"! She always asks if she can be "nake nake for a yittle while." So it was no surprise that when we were getting ready to go swimming she ran around "nake nake" testing out the floaties!

THE POOL

swimming at the hotel is always a favorite! The girls swam for hours!

On saturday after we went swimming we got KFC or "chicken on a bone" as the girls call it, and we went to a park for a picnic. The weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun on the playground!

Bree was so sound asleep in her stroller that we didn't wake her for the picture at the park.

Saturday was also Cam's birthday so we went out to Ann and Troy's for a barbeque and cake to celebrate. Bree and Riley were content laying on the floor together while the rest of the kids ran wild.

Kyra and Adrie wanted Cam to sit by them on the way home from Ann and Troy's and he agreed even though he could barely fit! He sat between them and sang songs all the way home!
One last picture of the sisters before we had to say goodbye! It was so fun to spend time with Chaly and Cam and make a trip out of it! We miss them!
