We got to spend the 4th of July at the beach this year which was lots of fun! We started out the day with the Rockaway town parade. It was a really good parade for such a small town and the best part was all the candy they threw. We ended up with a huge bag of candy plus they threw out lots of necklaces and things too. There was a Wizard of Oz float and the trees (in the picture above) were giving out "tree hugs" and when they came to grandma they yelled "double tree hug" and smashed her in between them. It was funny!
Mom, Ky and Adrie keeping warm in the sand while we were waiting for the fireworks to start. We got to build a fire on the beach and watch the fireworks over the ocean. It was a really good show!
Papa was sporting a great patriotic hat for the 4th that he had bought just for the occasion.
Watching the parade-the great thing about a small town is you get great seats at the front even when you are there 10 min before it starts!
Uncle Cam thought it would be funny to jump in the parade and walk for awhile with Tate!
Bree was really excited about the parade if you can't tell! We had forgot her hat so she got to wear Kyra's for a little while! Kris looks sexy if I do say so myself!
