One of the favorite things to do on the beach is build sandcastles and then watch as the tide comes in and washes them away!

Adrie picked out this mermaid shirt at the store before the trip and she was so excited to wear it at the beach!
Kyra and I got up early one morning at low tide and went out to look for treasures. Kyra found lots of seashells and even a few full sand dollars.
Adrie was so meticulous about her shells and how she hid them in the sand. One day she had been playing with them for a long time and when we said we were heading back to the house for lunch she said "whobody going to wait for me to finish with my shells?" so aunt chaly sat with her for another half hour or so while she finished her "project"
