The story of my new nieces entering the world. (it is only a few weeks out of date now) ..........
Two sisters
Both expecting first baby
Both expecting baby girls
Both due Feb. 17th
Both girl's water breaks Sunday morning (one more so than the other, but still!)
Both babies delivered by the same doctor, same hospital, couple rooms apart
Nora Ruth arrived in the morning via C-section
Lucy Mae followed shortly after in the afternoon through a wonderfully, quick delivery
It's very clear these two babes weren't heading down to earth alone. If the events of today don't testify of the preexistence, then please tell me, what does?
Kyra with Nora
Adrie with Nora
Bree and dad and Nora

Kyra and Lucy
Adrie and Lucy

Bree looks really concerned looking at Lucy in the bed
The girls loved going back and forth down the hall visiting both babies. They even got to watch Lucy get her first bath and they helped pick out the bow she would put in her hair
Lucy and her proud new daddy!
As Kris and I were driving to the hospital to visit these sweet new babies we were talking about how it was weird to think we would have been having a baby with them had we not miscarried. We were all 3 originally supposed to be due the same day. Although the pain of that loss is not gone, it is comforting to KNOW that we are supposed to be bringing Kareen into our family at this time instead. Hopefully we will join the baby ranks again soon but for now, as Kris said "We just time warped, and we are having a 4 year old instead." And we are so grateful to be able to call her our own soon!!!
Welcome to the world girls! We are so glad to have you in our family!

Thats amazing!!! Woah Grandma - its going to be busy busy for her! What a blessing these two little girls will get to be best friends all their lives. They are practically twins! Nothing is better than brand new little people .. no matter what age!
What precious little babies. I have no doubt they were holding hands before they left and promised each other many things they will do together in this life. Thanks for sharing.
